This bit is designed to give the illusion of raised panel door construction in MDF and solid panel doors. When used individually these bits produce a nice, simple raised panel effect in one pass. Or use one of the “Panel” bits in conjunction with one of the “Stile” bits to create a more authentic raised panel reveal. The plunging design offers precise control over the starting point of the profile, allowing for accurate and consistent cuts. Perfect for interior doors, providing a smooth, paintable surface. Ideal for achieving a polished look in any room. Designed for production routing on CNC machines. A bearing and lock collar can also be added to the shank for following patterns manually. Carbide-tipped ogee style panel profile bit with 1-1/2″ large diameter, 1/2″ shank, and 2-1/2″ overall length for use with 1/2″ collets.
